Put the enfant terrible of contemporary Nederjazz, guitarist Anton Goudsmit, on a stage with the “rocker of Gypsyjazz” guitarist Robin Nolan, and you’ll automatically get a sparkling and unpredictable set of Gypsyjazz. In 2010 guitarist Anton Goudsmit won the VPRO / Boy Edgar prize and he is co-founder of famous jazz formations such as New Cool Collective and the Ploctones.

Gypsy jazz legend Robin Nolan has been touring the world with his trio for more than a quarter of a century. You could say where he hasn’t been to show his guitar skills yet. Regardless of Robin’s idiosyncratic renditions of Django Reinhardts’ music, greats like George Harrison, Willie Nelson and Bill Wyman were never afraid to hide their admiration.
Tukker Arnoud van den Berg has been working with Robin Nolan for about 15 years and played with various greats from the Gypsy jazz world, including Jimmy Rosenberg and Stochelo Rosenberg.
